Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Nagaland Menukhol John has confirmed on May 25 that three positive cases of COVID-19 has been detected in Nagaland.
The cases were detected from among the returnees from Chennai who are in quarantine.
Out of the three cases, two were symptomatic and one person was asymptomatic (without any symptoms). 2 of them are from Dimapur and 1 from Kohima. The Principal Secretary said that the Dept. is doing it’s best to take care of them. He appealed to the public not to stigmatize the patients.
