Director of Art and Culture, Vevo Sapuh informed that the activities of Hornbill Festival would include daily cultural performances at the main arena by cultural troupes from all tribes.
Artists’ Corner at World War 2 Museum Premises would be displayed and sale art works, demonstrative arts and live-sketching, painting exhibition, art competitions, slide show and talk etc.
The director also informed that Archive’s Stall would showcase rare collection of original documents from public records, private records, rare historical and geographical maps, news paper clippings, rare photos and books and sale of departmental publications etc.
The festival will also feature popular events like Hornbill music festival besides a host of other regular events throughout the 10 days of merry making starting from Dec 1.
