As Arsenal FC fails to earn points from the home game against struggling West Ham United FC, questions are being raised if Arsenal has what it takes to win the English Premier League this season with Liverpool sitting quite handsomely on top with 8 points difference.

Liverpool face Manchester City at the Etihad stadium on Sunday. This would have been a stressful game for Liverpool, had not for Arsenal’s dismal performance on Satuday.

Provided Liverpool hold their nerves, and their strikers, especially Mo Salah and Luis Diaz live up to their task, the Reds should go home with a point, if not a 3 point victory. Liverpool has been showing signs of fatigue of late with an unconvincing win against the Wolves and a frustrating draw against Aston Villa. But Arsenal’s loss has given them fresh hope and the team’s journey to the title will depend on how they perform in high stake games like the one against City on sunday.

On the other hand, all is not well at the Manchester City camp. Injury and aging players are a concern for them and their recent loss to Real madrid at the Champions league has not done a lot of good to their confidence.

Liverpool FC, for them to clinch the tile, they need to take each game seriously and try not to lose – the draws and ocassional wins should take them home.
