In a major decision, state chief secretary Temjen Toy in a press release has said that the govt of Nagaland has decided to give Rs 10,000 to those citizens of Nagaland presently staying outside who opt to stay back where they are at present.
The govt has also cautioned that systems have been put in place to check fraudulent claims and punish such dishonest opportunists.
The announcement of resumption of railway services by central govt has caught the state govt off guard, and is working on a new plan before the arrival of stranded and distressed citizens into the state.
