Stranded citizens start arriving in Dimapur

Elaborate preparations have been made at Dimapur railway station to receive stranded citizens of Nagaland arriving from different states. Passengers on arrival would be provided transportation and taken to the government quarantine facilities. GRPS officials informed that the railway station was being disinfected on regular basis.

As per DIPR about 30 persons from North East region arrived in buses on May 12.

Passengers would be arriving Thursday at 1:45 AM in a special New Delhi-Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Express. As per the passenger list, 19 persons would arrive at Dimapur railway station out of which seven passengers would be heading to Manipur.

Meanwhile, Addressing an emergency meeting of all Civil Societies of Dimapur at Police Complex Chumukedima, Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said said that “for those who want to come, we cannot stop.” “We cannot disown our children,”.
