Chief Minister Rio asks citizens not to panic

In the backdrop of rising number of Coronavirus cases in Nagaland, Chief minister Neiphiu Rio addressed the citizens of the state through a recorded video.

The CM acknowledged that there was a management gap and miscommunication which led to the Tuensang problem. He assured to set up a BSL lab in Tuensang district.

He requested people not to panic and not to stigmatize COVID-19 patients and their families.

The CM said that thousands have returned home and there and there was a challenge to give them gainful employment. He said Govt has formed various groups to work on economic issues and the Government expects to come up with suitable policies soon.
