Nagaland PCC president K Therie claimed that there still was a rift within NPF.

Therie said the NPF had claimed the two factions in the party had reconciled after dissidents failed to unseat Chief Minister TR Zeliang but recently there was a move for a new Chief Minister again.

Therie ridiculed the NPF for having 38 MLAs in the 60-member House but failing to rule the state.

On the fate of eight legislators who have been sus- pended by the Congress high command for joining the NPF-led government, Therie said the AICC could take drastic action against them during the upcoming budget session.

Members of the PCC executive committee and district committee officials, who met here today, drafted a road map, which would be released soon.

It expressed concern over the communal and religious intolerance in the country under the BJP-led NDA government.

It would also express concern over the NPF leaning towards communal forces. The party was also concerned about removing the special category status of Nagaland.
