Nearly a dozen staff in Nagaland CM’s Residential Complex has been detected positive for COVID-19. As per reports the infected include security personnel and support staff.
As a safety precaution, the Chief Minister is in home quarantine while strict adherence to SOPs has been put in place. The CMO in the Nagaland Civil Secretariat is functioning normally.
Few persons in the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex have tested positive for COVID-19. All SOPs are being implemented. The complex is being sanitized and the residential office closed for 48hrs. The normal functioning of the CMO is continuing following all guidelines.

Meanwhile, a cabinet minister informed that other legislators and top bureaucrats, who had attended the inaugural function of the State Banquet Hall at the CMRC on July 29 have also put themselves under home quarantine as precautionary measure.
