Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy has passed away in Kohima on Thursday.
The senior IAS officer of 1989 batch had been unwell for sometime and was undergoing treatment.
He was 56 and survived by his wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters.
“ I am extremely saddened at the passing away of @temjentoy , Chief Secretary of Nagaland. He was a humble, upright and dedicated government servant. His death is a huge loss for the Govt. of Nagaland & for the Nagas as a whole. Heartfelt condolences to his family. May his soul RIP,” Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio tweeted.
