Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has asked all 60 Members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly to resign, reasoning it will only demonstrate their sincerity “towards implementation of political solution” vis-à-vis Indo-Naga political issue.

A press release by the Party on Sunday informed that this was one of the 3-point point resolution adopted at the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of NPCC meeting held on July 16 at Congress Bhavan, Kohima.

On the recent formation of Parliamentary Committee and Core Committee on Naga political issue, the meeting decided to urge all 60 legislators to resign and pave way for urgent implementation of political solution, as there is nothing more to talk according to GoI Interlocutor, who is also the Governor of Nagaland, it stated.
