A massive fire broke out at Chakhesang Mission centre church Pfutsero, Phek during early morning hours of 3 January 2022 as per various sources.
As per reports the cause of fire seems to be electrical short circuit.
The fire which started at around 3:00 AM engulfed the entre church.
There is no emergency fire service in Pfutsero. It was reported that a fire engine was dispatched from Phek town but it failed to reach on time. There is no report of casualties. More details are awaited.
