Kejriwal accused of accepting Rs 2 Cr. in cash; Corruption tsunami hits AAP

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

Ousted Aam Admi Party minister Kapil Mishra today launched a stinging assault on Arvind Kejriwal, accusing the Delhi chief minister and Dy chief minister Manish Sisodia of lying to Delhiites on many critical issues.

Mishra said he was the only untainted minister in AAP.

Mishra alleged that a cash amount of Rs 2 crore was given by minister Satyendra Jain to Kejriwal. Where did the money came from, asked the sacked minister.

This is by far the biggest corruption charge against Kejriwal till date. Mishra alleged he saw the Delhi CM taking money from Jain.

Raising questions on the timing of his suspension, Mishra said he will approach the CBI against Kejriwal.

Earlier today, the sacked AAP leader had ruled out any possibility of joining BJP. He said he is one of the founding members of AAP and will always be in the party’s inner circle.

The Delhi Water Minister was sacked from the Kejriwal Cabinet yesterday. His sacking highlighted the simmering tension between the top AAP leaders. (Agencies)
