Who does not know know the British band Smokie. Age may be catching up but they still sound good. They sang in front of a record turn out during the Hornbill music festival at Kohima and made it a ‘night to remember’ for many.
3. Prakash Jha
‘Praksh Jha’ has a class of his own. The award winning bollywood director is known for his socio-political films such as Rajneeti, Gangajaal and Satyagraha. He had a ball donning the tribal head gears and getting himself immersed in the cultural extravaganza.
4. Javed Akhtar
Award winning Poet, lyricist, scriptwriter and MP Javed Akhtar inaugurated one of the editions of the Hornbill Art festival. His talented actor son Farhan Akhtar could not accompany him though.
5. Highway on my plate – Rocky & Mayur
And where there so much food around how can we miss out Rocky and Mayur of the hit NDTV good times show ‘Highway on my plate’. Mayur is a veggie and Rocky is a meat lover. They both must have ahad a lot to eat for sure!
