Those who feel lazy to study can take “inspiration” from death row prisoner Yakub Memon, the man convicted for his involvement in the 1993 Bombay bomb blasts which killed over 200 people.
While in prison, he has studied at Indira Gandhi National Open University and earned two master’s degrees. The first, in 2013, in English literature and the second degree, in 2014, in political science.
He is a Chartered accountant (from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). He had a successful chartered accountancy firm in Mumbai. He also had a meat export company.
He is likely to be hanged at the Nagpur jail on 30 July 2015.
